So today I went to read the Bleat as usual. For those who don’t know, the Bleat is a Lileks creation… one of the more brilliant ones he has spewed out of his brain. Anyway, so I went to the website, and alas! The page domain had expired. I cried, “woe is me!” and collapsed on the floor. Well, not really, but I was a trifle heartbroken. I know the Bleat will be back, hopefully soon, but in the mean time, life on the internets is pretty lonely. The Bleat is my idea of what a blog should be. It’s a real web page, designed to make you feel like you’re at home, reading a comfy book.
I don’t know what a comfy book is, but it sounds nice. Anyway, to all those other forlorn Bleaters, hang on. I’m sure Mr. Lileks will soon arise from his dentist chair and gallop to the front of the page in his dashing armor! At least, I hope so.
