Steyn Offline

Mark Steyn is on trial. Apparently he has committed the crime of hate speech. Now, while I can see how Steyn’s writing can be distressing towards some (sarcasm ON) the only thing I really want to say about his trial is, how much more 1984 can you get? Hate speech? What? I thought we were supposed to learn from books, not copy from them. Isn’t that called plagiarizing? Anyway, all sarcasm aside, I really cannot believe this is happening. What ever happened to free speech? Will conservatives even have rights in the next ten years? From the way Steyn’s case is going, it appears that we don’t even have them now.
