Yesterday was apparently the U.S. Open in golf world. So to celebrate Father’s Day, we sat down to watch it while eating at Baby A’s. My dad doesn’t even like golf. But, man, everyone else does. The diners cheered, whistled, and stomped their feet when Tiger Woods made that final… putt into the hole. I don’t know what you call it, actually. My question is: why? Why is golf such a big deal? It’s the most boring sport in the world, and watching it is ten times worse. Relaxing? I think not. Not after that last shot threw everyone into such a frenzy. Ha. I bet the collective blood pressure of the room rose about 2000 points.
Bottom line- The only cool thing about golf is the plaid.
