Sarah Palin

So, Sarah Palin will be the next VP hopefully. I am positively thrilled. Back when I first heard that John McCain had her in mind, I knew instantly she was the one. And I’m so glad that he realized it too. Palin brings a refreshing change to the presidential race. After months of hearing about “change” while very little was actually being done, this is a fresh remake on an old song. We’ve heard about change from Obama’s camp- we’ve actually seen it now from McCain’s. Finally. It’s a new face- one that isn’t male or old. For all those who are saying McCain shouldn’t have chosen her, well, I’m sorry, but I believe you are beyond wrong in making that judgement. In my opinion, Palin is the antidote to McCain’s moderateness. She’s something he needed to win over the conservatives who refused to vote for him.

For the first time, I can officially say I am happy to be supporting the McCain ticket.

It appears that Michelle Malkin is happy as well, along with Ann Althouse. I especially like Althouse’s reference to Audrey Hepburn. It makes me like Palin even more.

Update: The comments in Rachel Lucas’ section on her are pretty funny. Read them.
